HUAYO Hemp Transplanter driven by tractor can plant Hemp Seedling with uniform row spacing and plant spacing to increase yield.
Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant cultivated for industrial and food products, distinct from its high-THC cousin, marijuana. We can use it to make a wide range of goods, such as textiles, rope, and paper, due to its strong fibers. Hemp is also grown for its nutrient-rich seeds, which are a good source of protein, fiber, and essential fatty acids.

Why transplant Hemp ?
As cannabis plants grow, their root systems expand rapidly. In a confined space, roots can become tangled and compressed, a condition known as root binding. This can restrict nutrient uptake severely and overall plant health. Transplanting into larger containers gives roots the space they need to grow and thrive.
Transplanting helps cannabis thrive by giving roots more room to grow. The best time to transplant is during the vegetative stage, or about 2-4 weeks after germination. Avoid transplant shock by being gentle with roots and giving your plant time to adjust.
The HYZ-2 Hemp Transplanter is a type of agricultural machinery specifically designed for transplanting hemp seedlings. It can improve transplanting efficiency and ensure uniform row and plant spacing. We can use it widely in medium – and large – scale hemp farms. They are driven by tractors and can plant hemp seedlings with uniform row spacing and plant spacing.
It uses a double crankshaft connecting rod mechanism to drive the duckbill cup planting system, enabling precise seeding and film-covered planting with ease. What’s more, we can equip it with fertilizing, film-laying, and watering devices based on your needs—realizing quantitative, hole-specific watering to boost seedling survival rates and promote healthy late-stage growth.
Not only is it suitable for transplanting seedlings of hemp, vegetables, and other crops, but it also adapts well to different regions, soil types across the country.
Working Principle:
the Crankshaft connecting rod converts the main shaft’s rotational motion into reciprocating motion, driving the duckbills to move up and down for planting.
Transplanting Process:
Power from the tractor’s PTO travels through the gearbox to the dual-crank main shaft of the planting drive.
The main shaft’s rotation converts to the duckbills’ up-and-down motion via the double crank connecting rod mechanism.
Combined with the tractor’s forward movement, it ensures the duckbills lift and lower vertically for upright seedling planting.
At the top dead center, the duckbills close as the seed cup’s bottom cover opens, letting seedlings drop into the duckbills.
Moving downward to the bottom dead center, the duckbills penetrate the soil with the seedlings’ roots.
As the duckbills rise back, they open to release seedlings into the holes, which are then covered with soil.
The machine operates continuously to carry out non-stop transplanting work.

Seedling Feeding
When you transplant, drop the Hemp Seedling to the Seedling Cup. We use a horizontal seedling feeding device, allowing ample time for seedling placement to reduce missing rates and boost transplant efficiency. The transplanting and watering units move in sync, ensuring precise co-location of planting and watering in the same hole.
